1.Ss can understand the superlative degree of the adjectives.

2.Ss can listen and understand the text.

教法设想

Task teaching method, Audio-linguistic method.

课前准备

some pictures, word cards, the tape and the recorder ,computer are the tools.

修改建议

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

1.Greetings.

2.Sing an English song.

3.Report:

It is Tuesday today. It is fine. Everyone is here.We love English. 

Step 2 Presentation and drill

   1.T draw some things on the Bb and learn to say the new words: the least, the most.

   2.Let Ss understand the superlative degree. Make some examples.

interesting, more interesting, the most interesting ,

boring, more boring, the most boring,

exciting, more exciting, the most exciting.

3.Learn to say the sentences: Ask Ss to compare and make sentences.

 1) Spaces stories; fairy tales; Chinese text.

  Eg: Space stories are the least interesting stories.

     Fairy tales are the most boring stories.

 2)monkey, swan, lion, elephant, giraffe.

  Eg: The monkey is the most playful animal.

     The swan is the most graceful bird.

     The elephant is the biggest animal.

     The lion is the most fiercest animal.

     The giraffe is the tallest animal. 

Step 3 Practice:

1.Finish the Ex in Part D: Pair work. Take turns to tell each other about the animals below.

Example: The rabbit is the noisiest animal. 

Step 4 Consolidation:

1.    Read the new words and the new sentences.

2.    Remember the new words and the new sentences.
